APPROACH

As a Team, we worked user-centred as much as possible, as there was not much time for research and usability testing. While we were revising and designing the first designs, I created a visual design system and helped staff the team from a couple to 10 designers. Meanwhile, I've done the team and stakeholder management and organised it throughout the agile development teams.

LEARNINGS & CONCLUSION

The interesting environment around connected cars and designing in a very technical context challenged me and showed me how indispensable the user perspective is. The experience of building and leading a design team was extensive and fun.

The larger the organisation and stakeholders are, the more critical it is to have a dedicated style guide to pick up stakeholders along a shared vision.

New features and concepts should be continuously tested and reprioritised based on user feedback and market insights.
